Hi, my name is John and I play keyboards. My love of the piano stems from listening to records by Stevie Wonder, the Band, the Allman Brothers and the Doors when I was really young.

I used to love playing on my grandmother’s out of tune piano even though I had no idea what I was doing. Growing up, I have been influenced by a range of keyboardists including Herbie Hancock, Oscar Peterson, Kenny Kirkland, Stevie Wonder, Ray Manzarek, Dr John and Matt Rollings.

Throughout my life in Canada and the UK, I have played with a variety of Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop, Folk, Soul and Rock bands including the Dennis Greeves Blues Band.

I am looking forward to playing more gigs with the fun and really talented musicians from Sold on Soul.
